February 18, 2010

By Rick Barrett of the Journal Sentinel

Wiza Industries in Muskego has been acquired in a bank-forced sale by World Class Manufacturing, of Weyauwega.

The company has a 200,000-square-foot manufacturing plant with more than 300 automated milling machines.

It once employed about 250 people and now has about 40 employees.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. But in addition to acquiring
Wiza's equipment and inventory, World Class has signed a one-year lease
with an option to buy the company's three buildings.

World Class makes components for a variety of companies, including Oshkosh Corp.

The acquisition more than doubles the size of World Class and makes it one
of the largest machining companies in the Midwest, the company said.
